Policy Focus

Equitable City Services

I am committed to ensuring that all residents of Regina have access to high-quality city services, regardless of their neighborhood or socio-economic status. This means investing in infrastructure and public amenities, ensuring that public transit is accessible and reliable for everyone, and making sure that essential services like waste management, public safety, and community programs are distributed fairly across the city. My goal is to create a city where everyone feels supported and has the resources they need to thrive.

Future Forward City

Regina needs to be prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the future. This involves investing in sustainable practices, such as green energy and efficient public transportation, that will reduce our carbon footprint and create a healthier environment for future generations. It also means embracing innovation and technology to improve city services, enhance communication with residents, and make our city more resilient in the face of changing economic and environmental conditions.

Vibrant City

A vibrant city is one where culture, arts, and community life flourish. I will advocate for increased support for local artists, cultural institutions, and community events that bring people together and celebrate Regina’s diverse heritage. This also includes investing in public spaces like parks, recreational facilities, and vibrant streetscapes that encourage social interaction and active living. By fostering a vibrant city, we can create a sense of belonging and pride among residents, and make Regina an even more attractive place to live, work, and visit.

Inclusive Representation

Representation matters, and our city council should reflect the diversity of the community it serves. I am committed to amplifying the voices of underrepresented groups, including Indigenous peoples, people with young families, youths, newcomers, and marginalized communities, to ensure that their perspectives are heard and considered in decision-making processes. I will work to create more opportunities for meaningful engagement and participation, so that every resident feels they have a say in the future of our city. By fostering inclusive representation, we can build a more just and equitable Regina.

Affordable Living

In the face of rising costs of living, I will work tirelessly to make Regina a more affordable place to live. This includes advocating for affordable housing initiatives, supporting small businesses to keep our local economy strong, and ensuring that essential services like childcare, and public transportation remain accessible and affordable for all residents. I believe that everyone deserves a fair chance to succeed, and I will prioritize policies that help reduce financial burdens on young families, youths, and seniors, making our city a place where everyone can afford to build a better future.
