Anita resides right in Ward 10 within the Hawkstone neighborhood with her husband Tola and her two amazing kids Simi and Timi.
She is family centric, community minded and a servant leader, who is currently pursuing her PhD in Public Policy at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (JSGS) of University of Saskatchewan, where she previously graduated from with a Masters in Public Administration within the University of Regina. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations obtained at Nigeria.
Anita’s depth of experience in policy, strategic planning and spans across 2 countries, and working with the Federal, Provincial government in Canada, as well as other governance and policy improvement research project with the City of Saskatoon.
Anita is also an entrepreneur contributing to the economic growth of Regina.
Having a leader’s heart and policy skills, She’s a community builder, haven volunteered her time to serve as the Secretary of the Board to her children’s daycare – Solid Futures Learning Centre, she has also founded communities to strengthen the economic and social integration of newcomers to Canada and a community for women to thrive personally and professionally (Ladies Arise). She also serves at her local church, working with teens and youths and serving in other leadership capacities.
